Conference Venue

The Meeting will take place in the main headquarter of Sant'Anna School, in the Aula Magna, the main classroom, decorated with beautiful frescoes.

The School has occupied the actual building, a former convent, since 1987.  Benedictine nuns began building the convent and the church of St. Anna in Pisa in 1407 a.D, and the cloisters and an adjoining kitchen garden were renovated by Girolamo Ammannati in the early 16th century.

The convent is the 'heart' of the school, surrounded by greenery and with an exclusive view of the nineteenth-century Piazza Martiri della Libertà, dominated by the statue dedicated to Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany from 1765 to 1790.
